AutoSSL is simply a free, automatic SSL certificate for your website that can be unlocked with a few clicks of your mouse, no CSR generation, not crt installation. AutoSSL allows users to automatically install and renew SSL certificates without doing the manual process.
How do you enable AutoSSL on WHM / cPanel servers?
To unlock AutoSSL in cPanel, you will need to go to:
WHM »SSL / TLS» Manage AutoSSL
Click “Select AutoSSL provider” and finally open: cPanel (powered by Sectigo)
That’s it, and your AutoSSL Certificates are now ready for use by Sectigo.
Configure AutoSSL for Users on the Server
To unlock AutoSSL for a specific cPanel user, you will need to go to:
WHM »SSL / TLS» Manage AutoSSL »Manage Users
Once found, you will see three autossl options:
Steps:
1. Login to whm panel. (root privileges)
2. In the left corner, find the “SSL/TLS” option and expand it.
3. Now click on “MANAGE AUTOSSL,” Here, you can find the “RUN AUTOSSL FOR ALL USERS” option. Click on it and enable autossl for all users.
