How To Change Hostname In WHM Panel?

A hostname is a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) that your server uses to identify itself. Further, a generic hostname is allocated to your VPS/Dedicated server by default. This post will teach you how to modify the server’s hostname (WHM) to use the Web Host Manager.

STEPS:-

1. Login to WHM panel

2. Now expand the “NETWORKING SETUP” in the left side menu bar. And click on the “CHANGE HOSTNAME” option

3. Now mention the new hostname in the “NEW HOSTNAME” section. And save it by clicking on “CHANGE.”
